MEF seminars and workshops (Project WET/PLT)

CRACMES teachers attended the seminars and workshops given by Mother Earth Foundation. We learned a lot of new things from these activities and applied them in our daily lives.

October 4, 2010-First seminar with the Mother Earth Foundation.

MEF started it all

October 2010, when Mother Earth Foundation, headed by Sir Froilan Grate, introduced us into a new world of Environmental Lessons. Though we are integrating this into our daily lessons, still it's not enough. So when MEF came, our school transformed into a new one, the teachers were inspired by sir Froi's advocacy. We learned a lot from the seminars, team building activities, and workshops. As teachers, sometimes we thought that we've done good things to our students, to our family, and to other people. Can we ask ourselves, are these enough?...Can we include doing good things to our environment?...can we teach other people how to love and save our mother earth?

This blog is all about how I've awaken to the reality that we are in the position to save our mother earth. It's also about my personal and our school's achievements, the best practices of the school, and the learnings we got from joining the advocacy of MEF. We realized that: If we could just love and take care of the earth, we will see the beauty of life.
